Independent app rescue & release

I fix and release unfinished apps.

membership.tsIllustrative excerpt
// SDK configured, but never linked to app sign-in.const info = await Purchases.getCustomerInfo();const appUserId = await Purchases.getAppUserID();// Sample: "$RCAnonymousID:new-install" const hasPlus = Boolean( info.entitlements.active.studio_plus,);// Sample: active store receipt, missing entitlement.

Sample output

  • Store subscription: active (sample)
  • App identity: anonymous after reinstall
  • studio_plus entitlement: missing

A payment and an app account are different identities.

In this example, reinstalling creates an anonymous RevenueCat identity that is never linked to sign-in. I trace the account, receipt, and entitlement rather than hiding the paywall.

What I fix
Connect sign-in, purchase identity, active entitlements, and restore behaviour.
How I check it
Reinstall, switch accounts, restore, expire access, and check protected server routes.
What you get
An agreed account flow, purchase checks, and a release handoff.

  2. Resume app
  3. Book a class
  4. Web billing

A crash leaves a booking unconfirmed; retry duplicates it

  1. TestFlight 1.4.1 · Confirm booking · request req-42
  2. booking bk-42 committed · process exits before job enqueue
  3. confirmation job missing · retry req-42 creates booking bk-43
Cause
The database write and queue enqueue are separate. A crash between them saves the booking without its confirmation job.
Fix
Use a transactional outbox with per-user booking request keys and deduplicated confirmation jobs.
How I check it
Crash after commit, then retry the same request. Check that one booking and one confirmation job survive.

Recommended next step

Repair & Release, small scope

Fix both findings, retest sign-up and booking on a new TestFlight build, then hand over release notes.
